Continuing their partnership with Bunnings, NHW ACT hosted community information stands at two busy locations, Bunnings Tuggeranong and Bunnings Belconnen.

The steady flow of customers created valuable opportunities for residents to stop by, start conversations, and collect practical resources to support creating safer homes and neighbourhoods.

NHW volunteers were on hand to answer questions, guide residents through available resources, and discuss everyday safety concerns. Printed materials on home and personal safety were available, offering clear and practical guidance that residents could put into action.

NHW Week and Crime Prevention Week 2025 helped strengthen awareness of local safety services and reinforced the importance of community-led prevention. By taking information directly to the public in familiar, high-traffic settings, NHW ACT ensured safety messages reached a broad and diverse cross-section of the community.
