2009 AGM/Conference in Tasmania

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The 2009 Conference and Annual General Meeting of Neighbourhood Watch Australasia will be held at the ‘Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel (Winner 2008 ‘Best de luxe Accommodation), Hobart, on 21, 22 & 23 October 2009.

The conference will begin with registration and a welcome dinner at 6.00 pm on Wednesday, 21 October. For those arriving earlier that day there will be a walking tour of some of downtown Hobart’s historic places or a ferry trip during the afternoon.

The conference will be officially opened by the Tasmanian Minister for Police & Emergency Management on Thursday morning, and will continue, as a ‘mix’ of Board and Executive business sessions, interspersed with presentations, throughout the whole of Thursday and Friday.

The formal conference dinner will be held at the Tasmanian Police Academy at Rokeby on the Thursday evening.

For those staying overnight on the Friday there will be a bus trip to the Pinnacle of Mount Wellington on the Saturday morning, followed by time at Salamanca Market and at historic Richmond before afternoon flights home.
