Neighbourhood Watch Australasia leads, facilitates and supports the Neighbourhood Watch/Support ideal of safer communities, through negotiation and exchange of
information throughout the Commonwealth. We achieve this by empowering people, through partnerships that promote quality of life, wellbeing and social inclusion.

Constitution - Introduction

Name

The name of the incorporated association is “Neighbourhood Watch Australasia Inc." herein referred to as the Association.

Structure and Accountability

1. The Association is structured at State and Territory levels in Australia and in New Zealand.
2. This Constitution applies to and is binding on all levels of the Association.
3. Subject at all times to this Constitution, the structure of the Asso ciation at the State and Territory level in Australia and in New Zealand which:
   1. may comprise bodies with similar structures to those of the National Executive Committee and the Council of Delegates; and
   2. shall, in any event, be determined at the State or Territory level in Australia and in New Zealand.
4. No decision of the Association pertaining to the business of the Association, its Council of Delegates or the National Executive Committee shall be binding on any State, Territory or New Zealand.
