Channel 7 Sunrise program hosts Mel and Kochie today interviewed Neighbourhood Watch Victoria Chairman, Bill Horman.
Bill speaking to the nation from a busy Melbourne street kerbside was able to reassure Sunrise viewers that Neighbourhood Watch is alive and well. "We are now even Australasian" said Mr Horman, "we even have New Zealand on board with us."
Sunrise hosts were investigating a question from a NSW viewer who had been lead to believe that Neighbourhood Watch no longer existed. In fact Neighbourhood Watch is bigger and better than it has ever been. Mr Horman explained that the programme had grown to be more relevant to today’s society and had a much broader community safety focus. A national body has been established with presentation from all states, territories and New Zealand. The partnerships are stronger than ever.
Mr Horman hopes that Neighbourhood Watch can deliver regular up-dates to Channel 7 Sunrise viewers. Watch this space.
