Neighbourhood Watch Australasia has set a direction focusing on four key areas which build on the strength and success of the program.

1. To strive for inclusive and sustainable communities which will see shared responsibility about community safety.
2. To work towards a confident and informed society providing information and building social capital.
3. To foster safe and secure communities through capacity building reducing the likelihood of becoming the victim of a crime.
4. To commit to each other, and to you, that Neighbourhood Watch Australasia Incorporated is relevant, sustainable and plays a pivotal role in the support of state and territory Neighbourhood Watch/Support programs both in Australia and New Zealand.
